Data Deletion

You can disconnect your Instagram account or delete your entire BookVoya account and data at any time.

Disconnect Instagram only

Open your BookVoya dashboard → Settings → Instagram, and click "Disconnect". This immediately deletes the stored access token for that account; BookVoya stops receiving new messages from it right away.

Delete your full account

To permanently delete your BookVoya account — including your artist profile, booking records, client messages, and any connected Instagram data — send a deletion request:

1. We verify the request comes from the account owner.
2. We permanently delete the artist account, booking/conversation records, and any stored Instagram access token within 30 days.
3. We confirm completion by email to the address you contacted us from.

What gets deleted

• Artist account and login credentials
• Stored Instagram access token and connection record
• Client booking and conversation history tied to your account

Data we are legally required to retain (e.g. for tax/financial records on completed payments, if billing was used) is kept only as long as required by law, then deleted.
